Balayage in Palma de Mallorca
Personalised balayage and highlights designed around your natural base, hair condition and the amount of brightness you want. At Vika Hair & Beauty we focus on soft transitions, dimension and a finish that still feels like you.
A balayage designed around your hair
No two starting points are the same. Before planning the colour, we look at your natural base, previous colour work, hair condition, haircut and the result you would like to achieve.
From there we decide where to place the lightness, how much contrast to create and which tone will work best with your base. The goal is not simply to make the hair lighter, but to create brightness and dimension in a way that feels balanced.
- Soft transitions without a harsh root line.
- Brightness placed to complement your cut and natural movement.
- Toner selected according to the finish you want.
- Maintenance advice based on the actual colour we create.
How we approach your balayage
A good colour result starts before the first section is lightened. We use the consultation to understand your hair history, expectations and preferred level of maintenance.
Hair & colour assessment
We assess your current colour, condition, previous services and the amount of lightness or contrast you want.
Placement & lightening
We plan where the lighter sections should sit according to your haircut, movement, density and natural base.
Toner & final finish
We refine the tone and finish, then explain how to maintain the colour and when a toner or refresh may make sense.
Balayage results from our Palma salon
Different starting colours need different approaches. These examples show how blonde, beige and warmer tones can be adapted to create brightness while keeping dimension in the hair.

Blonde, beige, caramel or brunette balayage
The right shade depends on your natural base, the level of contrast you want and how much maintenance you are comfortable with. We adapt both the lightness and the toner instead of applying the same formula to every client.
Blonde & beige balayage
For a lighter finish, we can work with soft blonde, beige, vanilla, pearl or cooler tones depending on your base and what your hair can safely achieve.
Caramel & honey tones
Warm caramel, honey and hazelnut tones can add movement and brightness to brunette hair without taking the overall result too light.
Balayage for dark hair
Balayage on dark hair does not have to end in a very blonde result. Chocolate, caramel and warmer dimensional tones can preserve depth while adding light.
Balayage for short, curly and grey-blending hair
Balayage can be adapted beyond long, straight hair. On shorter cuts, placement needs to work with the shape of the haircut. On curly hair, the colour should follow the natural movement and curl pattern.
For clients with visible grey, balayage may sometimes help soften contrast and blend selected areas, but the best approach depends on the amount and distribution of grey and your natural colour.
- Short hair and bob cuts: lightness placed around the shape of the cut.
- Curly hair: placement adapted to the natural curl pattern.
- Grey blending: assessed individually according to your base and percentage of grey.
How much does balayage cost?
There is no single balayage price that fits every head of hair. The amount of work depends on your starting colour, previous colour services, hair length, density, the level of lightening required and the finish you want.
Before confirming the service, we can guide you more accurately once we understand your starting point. Sending a current photo of your hair and a reference image on WhatsApp is a helpful first step.
- Hair length and density.
- Your current base colour and previous colour work.
- The amount of brightness and contrast you want.
- The time and technical work needed to reach the result safely.
How to maintain your balayage
Balayage often grows out more softly than colour with a strong root line, but the tone and condition of the hair still need care. The exact maintenance schedule depends on the colour we create and how your hair evolves.
- Keep highlighted areas well hydrated.
- Use heat protection when blow-drying or using hot tools.
- Refresh toner when the shade needs rebalancing.
- Plan your next lightening service according to growth and the result you want to maintain.
